? The true inheritor of divine knowledge
When Imam Hadi (peace be upon him) was 8 years old, the caliph, the one who had martyred his father, called upon Al-Junaydi to teach the child about Islam. Al-Junydi was a supporter of the caliphate and an enemy of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon him). He was impressed by the Imam’s intelligence and would often report about the insight, knowledge, and understanding of the Quran. Al-Junaydi marveled at the knowledge of the Imam and concluded that it could only be by divine causes that the boy could be so knowledgeable, as a result, he dropped the animosity he had held towards the family of the prophet (peace be upon them).

☀️ The Title al-Hadi
Imam Hadi lived during the time wherein the caliphate was very harsh upon the Imams and the Shias. It was only due to the insight and the guidance of this Imam, that the Shias were able to survive and hence he derived the title of Al-Hadi, the guide.

? The Two Known Gems
Although all the words of the Imams (peace be upon him) are precious gems, two ziarats (homage paid to the Imam) stand out. One is the ziarat al-Ghadiriyah, which is highly recommended to be recited on the day of Eid al-Ghadir, and the other is ziarat al-Jamea al-Kabira, which shows the true Shia belief concerning Imamate.

? Divine Light:

Imam Hadi (peace be upon him) says: "People become famous in this world for their wealth and luxuries, but in the Hereafter, they will be reckoned and rewarded for their deeds."

?? On this auspicious day, we ask Allah to hasten our Imam's reappearance and help us be amongst his righteous followers.
