Imam Sadiq Online Seminary offers heartfelt felicitation on the Occasion of the 11th of the Dhi al-Qa’dah, the Birthday Anniversary of Imam Ali al-Ridha

Below is a letter sent by Imam Ridha peace be upon him, for his friends and followers which underlines what the Imam expects from us.

“O Abdul Azim! Convey my warm greetings to my followers and tell them not to make room for Satan among themselves.
Call them to be truthful in speech, observe trust, and have meaningful silence. Also, tell them to refrain from vain disputes, quarrels, and conflicts in futile affairs.
Invite them to have mercy upon each other, to visit each other, and to have a warm and friendly relationship with one another as this will bring them closer to Allah, myself, and His other saints.
Our friends should not waste their precious life and valuable time on enmity with each other. I have promised myself that whosoever commits such an act and gets angry with one of my friends or followers and harms him, to ask Allah to punish him with the harshest punishment in this world, and in the hereafter, such people will indeed be among the losers.
Inform them that Allah has indeed forgiven those among them who are good and can surely forgive those who are bad except those who associate partners to Him, harm our friends, and have hatred towards our friends. He will not have mercy upon them and won’t forgive until they repent. If they repent, Allah will forgive them. However, if they do not repent then the spirit of faith will depart from their hearts, and they will be expelled from my Guardianship (Wilayat) and he will not take any advantages from our Guardianship (Wilayat) and I take refuge in Allah from such an evil fate.”

On this auspicious occasion, we ask Allah to help us act upon the Advice of Imam Ridha, peace be upon him so that we can be among those who truly await the Imam of our Time, Imam Al-Mahdi, may Allah hasten his re-appearance.
