The world was orphaned with the martyrdom of the leader of all the believers. The wretched of all human beings, Ibn Muljim, raised his sword upon the best person after the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his pure progeny). Even the enemy acknowledged that Justice was struck and was buried with the burial of Imam Ali (peace be upon him).
The manner of his birth in the holy Ka’ba and his martyrdom in the Masjid of Kufa in the best of months, the month of Ramadhan, in the best of nights, the night of Qadr, in the best of state, the state of prayer, in the best of positions, in the position of prostration talks about his lofty status in the eyes of Allah.
There is no second to the Imam in ranks and without a doubt, the religion of Islam is in debt to the sacrifices made by this Imam and his family. May Allah curse the killers and the oppressors of the Imam and increase their punishment.
On his death bed, the Imam addressing his sons sent out a message for all of humanity, some of his advice was “be conscious of Allah, remove your differences, and strengthen your ties. I heard your grandfather, peace be upon him, say: "Reconciliation of your differences is more worthy than all prayers and all fasting... Fear Allah in matters concerning orphans.… Remain attached to the Quran. Nobody should surpass you in being intent on it, or sincerer in implementing it. Fear Allah concerning your prayers. It is the pillar of your religion….”
